Burger Planet Hires Health Gurus
GARY, Ind.-- Burger Planet has announced the hiring of Jayne Peterson, fitness gurus and CEO of Looking Glass Inc, as their new spokeswomen in their efforts to offer healthier alternatives in their menu. Peterson has recently appeared on the Opal Whitcomb Show and has been credited for talk show host’s 75 pound weight loss. Peterson is scheduled for various promotional appearances around the country with Burger Planet’s long time mascot Corny the Clown to showcase burger planets low carb entrees and educate the public about healthy living. By Peterson’s addition to the team, Burger Planet can expect a heightened interest in 30-40 year old women.

One of the new items includes white meat chicken breast wrapped in lettuce, which provides a low carb alternative to the hamburger. On the new menu, consumers may also purchase a fruit packet including apples, grapes, peaches, pineapple, or bananas .CEO James Muellenbach said, “I want our customers to realize that Burger Planet is committed to offering healthy choices on its menu.
